JOHN MCDOWALL

ATLAS consists of a stack of 365 hand numbered sheets, a notice/label will invite people to take one. As these are dispersed a conceptual and yet physically actual geography will be created in the space between the pages. When one stack runs out, a new set will replace it. One of these will be in an exhibition in Bradford, England at the same time. These spaces will shift as pages move around, even if thrown away.

ABOUT THE ARTIST
