What do we have now, but the left behind rings of gold and occasional
feathers left behind in the rubble of the promises of modernity? We are
making an appeal to understand Hope so that it may be preserved. We are
collecting light to store in these magnetic strips and plastic rings of
data. We may be the last generation to know what it is to believe before
belief itself becomes crushed by the barrage of waste and hacks and times
inevitable transformation into products. We have no faith in what has
been; we reject the century of willful ignorance and shattered illusions
we were born from. We are in the process of reassembling these shattered
myths into a new kind of prayer; a prayer to one another for understanding,
for listening, for true communication and awareness. An end to this fucking
hopelessless.
Our code is dirty and pieced together, scraped images off in stolen programs
we don't know how to use. It is a cathedral of foil and masking tape and
we offer it to you with trembling but defiant hands.
