FREE BIENNIAL: PROJECTS: AMBUSH
AMBUSH
KENDRA KURRY, KATE CUSACK, DEMARIS ANN HOWE

Ambush, a mobilized posse of shrubbery with a mind of it's own invades everyday life with clever devise and disguise. Hedging on mayhem, Ambush mixes your grandma's green thumb with a B-science fiction movie mentalityand a twist of the pink panther.

Roving bushes blur the conventional notions of audience and performer, through carefully choreographed bouts of chaos. Unsuspecting pedestrians, construction workers, and pickniquers in the park find themselves in the midst of the kinetic landscape. Ambush invites impromptu partners in the most likely and unlikely of places!

HOW TO LOCATE

Ambush will be performing on April 20 at 11AM, 1PM, and 3PM

At the Greenmarket at Union Square Park (east end) East Seventeenth and Broadway.
