After contacting me by post or e-mail, contactee will recieve a copy of a prayer written by Reverend Barbara Mase for me and the first 40 children born on my 40th birthday in Hartford, Connecticut. The prayer mentions no specific diety or religious affiliation.

For reciting this prayer, the contactee will recieve one U.S. dollar.

Contactee will need to state intention to recite the prayer, as well as give a name and mailing address so that I can send the prayer and dollar by post. Only the first 100 contactees will recieve a dollar with the prayer.

ABOUT THE ARTIST

Born in North Carolina and educated at the University of North Carolina, American University and the Skowhegan School for Painting and Sculpture, Steed Taylor's art practice includes public art projects as well as work for gallery settings. His art has been shown around the country including the Bronx Museum, the Mint Museum, the San Bernardino County Museum, the Neuberger Museum and the Parrish Art Museum in Southampton, New York. Besides extensive showings in the New York Metropolitan area, his solo shows include The University of the Arts in Philadelphia, Ambrosino Gallery in Miami, Florida and Il Ponte Contemporanea in Rome, Italy. His art has been discussed in publications as varied as Art In America to Time Out New York.
